Acknowledgement of Country
The ANU BIPOC Department acknowledges the traditional owners of the land, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples, and pays respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. Emphasis on sovereignty never being ceded.
Officer Report

Nat took additional digital photos, which will be posted.
Nat made a video that may be shown at the end of the collective meeting.
Safe Space
A significant purchase was made on Amazon.
IKEA was not very helpful, so furniture purchases are on hold.
An online floor plan was created with accurate dimensions.
Current table arrangement in a rectangle, will shift to a U for collective.
Extra chairs and a reading area next to the couch.
Zara provided a cool list of books to add to the book list.
Consultations
ANUSA elections are approaching; officers are asked to consult on policies impacting BIPOC matters.
Only two tickets have reached out so far.
Taskforce
Last taskforce meeting held today.
The aim is to write a report for the IGC to implement recommendations.
Group dynamics are challenging due to dissolving and role shifts.
Final thoughts to be sent by Friday/Monday.
Zine and Documentary
Interest in involvement is encouraged.
Events
Chai and Chats in Week 7 and Week 8.
Members interested in running events should reach out.
Possible ideas include another screen print session with Asil and a new design.
