Theme: Identity and Belonging
Ahead of the BIPOC Department’s 5th Edition Racism Report, let’s talk about what it means to us to be BIPOC; what it means to exist with a racialised identity in a colonial system, embracing alternative and personal cultural identities, how we fit in communities that do not include us, or create communities that celebrate our diversity wholeheartedly.

This is an opportunity to speak about BIPOC identity without constraint, without needing to code-switch to fit “white” norms, and to speak with people who have diverse experiences but fundamentally will get it too.

If you consent to it, some de-identified themes of your discussions will be included in the BIPOC Department’s 2026 Racism Report. Please feel free to let us know if you would not like this - you are still more than welcome to come along.
