Getting to the Root of the Problem
Joshua Chu-Tan was the first ANU student to win the 3MT Asia-Pacific final in 2016. Graduating with a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours in 2014, Joshua Chu-Tan is now a 3rd year PhD student at the Australian National University’s John Curtin School of Medical Research.
His research involves developing novel gene therapies for Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), the leading cause of blindness in the developed world.
