Student Advisory Forum #2

• Harmful behaviours report which will include data on racism - will be released in May though it’s been delayed

• Update on response to report is literally just that IARC is working with Anenya to design the modules

• IARC is also going to consult with Queer* and Women’s Department to expand modules

• IARC is the university’s answer to everything

• Reaching out to BIPOC to see how they can improve reporting mechanisms and improve underuse of Harmful Behaviours Disclosure tool

Thank you for the party last Saturday, everyone; engagement was good, and we want to maintain a good relationship with ISD

• Bush week planning.

• Anenya said Meeting with Latin American association with bonfire event. Keep in mind. 

• Department fete, market day, mural was what we did last year. We can do mural again on Wednesday

• We can do Chai and Chat w ISD

• We can do Zine launch

• Want to do boachouse event, or going out event, maybe doing during the week maybe Tuesday? 

• They do big bookings, and we can hire shoes there as well. 

• Maybe first year event, chai and chat run by Nozi? 

• New chat created for Ball committee, make an EOI, and graphic. 

• Before the semester ends, maybe by this week/ next week. 

• Did we have any Zine stuff working done?  Emma will do it. Make Slack channel for zine group w exec?

We will have a meeting over the break, it will be online, please fill out when to meet. 

• Each event has a primary and secondary person, and there will be a document working on the events, and the primary person working on preparing for the event with FOC, etc. 

• Bush week with Ancestry collapse: would we do a letter writing workshop? Potential event?

• More expensive event might need to run after hours
