Acknowledgement of Country

The ANU BIPOC Department acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples, and pays respect to their Elders past, present, and emerging.

Motion 1: Re Honoraria

Motion to allocate the remaining $4,003 of BIPOC Department honoraria money to all those who nominate themselves.

Motion 2: Removing 2026 Officers + Executive

Motion to remove the 2026 Department executive of Anenya Kale as Officer, Marana Akkaranithi as Secretary, Purvi Shenoy as Treasurer, Stella Tigges-Vale as Social Officer, Emma Zeng as Advocacy Officer, Rosie Do as Publicity Officer, Aria Hughes as BASC rep, Morgan Furst as Post-grad rep and Nozi Khumalo as First Year Rep. The Department acknowledges the term of this executive began on the 1st of December 2025 and will end on the 30th of November 2026.

Motion 3: Appointing the 2027 Officer + Executive

Motion to install the 2027 Department executive of Marana Akkaranithi as Officer, Minthy Le as Social Officer, Asmita Tangirala as Publicity Officer, Rohit Vijay as Advocacy Officer, Errol Sandhu as Secretary, Purvi Shenoy as Treasurer, Aria Hughes as Website Designer, Nozi Khumalo as BASC Representative, and Morgan Furst as Post-graduate Representative. The Department acknowledges the term of this executive will begin on the 1st of December 2026 and will end on the 30th of November 2027.

Thank you for the beautiful years, guys. 

• I will need to schedule a handover with Errol sometime next week. 

• I have reported the doorknob to Campus Environment; hopefully they come fix it soon. 

• Will do another base order run to stock up on base snacks for exam season.

• Indigenous cultural society just wants to spread some news that their AGM is happening tonight at 6 PM if anyone is interested. Most roles are open to everyone, and some roles are identified for mob only
