We are excited to announce that the ANU BIPOC Department website now supports Apple Touch Icons! This feature allows iPhone and iPad users to easily add our website to their Home Screen, making it just a tap away for quick access.
How to Add Our Website to Your Home Screen:
Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad and visit our website.
Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (a square with an upward arrow).
Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen.
You can edit the name if you'd like, then tap Add in the top-right corner.
Now, you will see our website icon on your Home Screen, just like an app!
Can Android Users Access This Feature?
While the "Apple Touch Icons" feature is specifically for iOS devices, Android users can also add our website to their Home Screen using Chrome or other mobile browsers. Here's how:
