Web Designer

Role Overview: 

As the Web Designer of the ANU BIPOC Department, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our website. This role involves ensuring the website is up-to-date, visually appealing, and user-friendly. You will work closely with our team to keep all information current and manage various web-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

Website Maintenance:

  • Regularly maintain the website to ensure it is running smoothly.

  • Update CMS (Content Management System) elements as needed.

Content Updates:

  • Keep all relevant information on the website up to date.

  • Ensuring our events, finances, blogs, meeting minutes, whats' on, etc.

  • Ensure our shared calendars are current and accurate.

Design and User Experience:

  • Implement a web design philosophy to create an engaging user experience.

  • Utilize Framer to design and implement micro-interactions for a dynamic website experience.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Understanding of web design principles and philosophy.

  • Proficiency in using Framer.

  • Experience with micro-interactions and creating engaging web elements.

  • Detail-oriented with organisational skills.
