Market day is doing more education about what and who is BIPOC.
Positive feedback about scrapbooking
Bringing back BIPOC talks opinion about BIPOC talks and chai and chats. Talks went emotional and went towards the public, so we needed a good facilitator.
Anenya suggested having alternating weeks between BIPOC talks and Chai and chats.
Interdepartmental Chai and chats.
Emma, IARC meeting about what they can do for BIPOC students. Idea critiques about what they can do for BIPOC students
Initiating Ideas about Educational Panels
Media sources that centre BIPOC and students' voices, suggestions from Kaab and Paris. Former Woroni members have problems with news coverage about Woroni not being centred on BIPOC and marginalised voices.
Building a direct newspaper for the department and marginalising voices at ANU.
All content accessible and multilingual in English and Mandarin.
How to centre and make sure polarising content is respectful towards everyone. 7 people have resigned and are happy to curate the racism report and help publish with us.
Started BIPOC 2026 group chat for making friends and sharing events.
First year culture at the hall seems scary, disclosure reporting, advocating about the disclosure process that isn't intimidating towards BIPOC students. Education, creating safe space, formal reporting and disclosure process.
Princess Increasing communication, having meetings with the officer department and facilitating discussions with halls and BIPOC reps from halls. ( interhall rep meeting at BIPOC base and connecting students.)

Either DM me on Slack or Email me via the email I provided on the communication platform.

Social Report
Reporting on O-Week events. The women's and BIPOC movie screening event was good
Suggestion for more movie screening events with Womens dept.
Smaller attendance with interdepartment events.
Bowling had a smaller turns out, 20 registered, and only 5 turned out.
A semester of full year of knowing people and knowing BIPOC before weekend events. Lower energy events like mocktail and scrap booking events. Chai and chats, low-energy talk, or have a free drink, no need to travel, as it is a lot of effort for students.
BIPOC book club for semester 1 event: Jehan is running the book club. Similar to BIPOC talks and having a discussion via picking up a book by a BIPOC writer and talk about the issue within the book. Happy to hear feed back about vibes and what kinds of books people wants.
Stella designs graphics for recurring events
Sem 1 party planning. Great to hear ideas and EOIS.
