Keeping it short because of the election

  • Keeping post-graduate positions open, Anenya asked how to increase post-graduate- participation.

  • Malachi suggested asking ANUSA for post-grad events and participation.

  • Our BASC has been elected because these only 1 person, Evin, who will get the position.

  • We have received ANU racism report response. Anenya did a quick run through, and said the response will be published in 2026 report, and feel free for anyone to reach out and have a look.

  • ANU basically responded with we have done that already, and we may have to give feedback that this is not what we heard from our collective. No more work can be done in terms of data collection with the response and report.

  • They are working on a training model for Staff and Residential mentors, so we can work on that and negotiate with them.

  • Emma has not seen the response from ANU in terms of anti racism events at the residential hall.

  • Malachi suggested it may be related to the Anti-Anti-racism Panel at BNG and Fenner last year, and that might be what they are referring to.

  • Anenya will have a meeting with Charlie to discuss the response, and is happy to hear feedback and thoughts about the feedback from ANU.

  • Anenya has reached out to Tom and Anuva about the panel next year, working on the theme of home, to relate back to the zine.

  • The survey question is done and will be submitted to ANUSA legal team to have a look at them

  • Do we wanna have food for tomorrow for the BIPOC talk?
