BIPOC Officer Report

• Tyne’s EAP Reform Working Group - suggestions and expressions of interest

• Meeting with DVCE - postponed

• Palestinian advocacy - increasing department solidarity

Secretary Report

Working on General business submission form. 

• I am reminding that I would want an annual budget for BIPOC base order. 

• BIPOC in research and industry panel venue confirmed. At Hayden Allen Tank

• Did fix my campus for pest control and the door.

• Hosting study sesh next week Monday. 

• I will plan an event for reconciliation week, thinking of doing a group walk/ bus to reconciliation day event at Questacon lawn.

Social Officer Report

The ISD x BIPOC Throwback Party

• Please take poster with you to put up around campus

• Djs finalised

• Marana volunteered to be a photographer

• Please advertise the party and any other BIPOC run events through word of mouth- tell your friends- repost events

• New study session posters need to be created for Monday and Thursday study sessions → check BIPOC event calendar for time and details

• Possible reconciliation day event after week 12 on June 1

• Over the winter I'd love to add to the bipoc resourcces by making/contributing to bipoc racism resources collation - e.g. post, Linktree, folder - I know the Linktree is already phenomenal, but maybe just some printables for bipoc reps at halls etc as well so that they have that support - let me know your thoughts

Nozi and I will be hosting the sip and scrap event this Friday; we will get an ingredients list to you soon

• We want to have recipes printed out, which I will design first

• Two stations, pre-made mocktails in the middle and a station to make ur own

• As for the website, nothing to report on that - once again, if everyone is coming to the party then a group photo would be lovely!
