BIPOC Officer Report

Skipping publicity motion vote because we do not have a quorum.

• Racism report survey was launched on friday please fill it in. 

• Meeting with Deputy VC will be next semester, if they have time to schedule it. 

• Thank you all for your work this sem, a few issue which needs discussing, if there is an issue there will be an Email or a message to have a consultation session. 

• Send out a when 2meet in 2nd week of break to do Bush week organisation. Please respond to the when to meet. 

• Delegation over the breaks, people sign themselves up for what need to be done during the break.

• Advocacy, putting zine together, racism report, panel/campaign ideas. 

• Social, Bush week planning, Foc, Badger for wednesday night, Ball planning committee, Aria has done the EOIS, so we need to post soon.

Secretary Report

I will print BIPOC BASE access laminate and put it on base. 

• I need to CALL angrily to fix my campus/ maintenance to get them to fix the smell of the bathroom.

Social Officer Report

General notes

• Recurring event idea, One important note i talked to Jehan, and because BIPOC books has been run, we will do movie night instead, and have some discussion at the end of the movie.

• I want more co-llab with other society. 

• Want to start recurring movie night every 2nd week. 

• BIPOC Talk with different roles running each part.

Advocacy Report

Structure talk, especially BIPOC talk and BIPOC and queer panel, was really good engagement event the low amount of people coming in. 

• Do we want to do another post to that zine submit is still open? But I dont wanna do a public post, but maybe tell them informally to submit. 

• Racism report, I want to make an A4 pamphlet of the information about racism report survey and put it around campus.

Ball EOI is done and any more graphics needed I can do

I can put on events for postgrads in place of the officer position second semester- first idea is a PowerPoint night

We have agreed the Honoraria allocations in the appendix 1 to show appreciation for our Department officers and members the work they have done in the past.

The honoraria will be paid 01/06/2026.
